From 22th of March (00:00) onwards, all job offers for which no suitable candidate was found in one of IAESTE member countries, will be published.

The Unused Offer are published worldwide, so you should act fast:

1. Send an e-mail to Cornelia Knötig at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it und let her know, which traineeship you want to apply for. Please include the REFERENCE NUMBER and surname in the subject and the text of the e-mail. For Example: CA032/07N - Mustermann. Also include your transcript of records so that we can get an idea of your qualification. We have to check whether the offer still is available. If yes, Cornelia will let you know that it has been reserved for you and you can apply -as quickly as possible.
2. For the administration of "Unused Offers" IAESTE has to charge a fee of 150 EUR. Your application can only be processed after receiving the confirmation of payment!

3. Send a competitive application via email in English to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as soon as possible. (first come, first served!) Please don't forget to put the reference number in the "about" line.Your application has to contain the following documents in English(!) - most countries don't have much use for German documents:
   
   • completed form "student nominated"
   • scan of your passport
   • letter of motivation (cover letter)
   • curriculum vitae (about a page) with foto
   • list of completed subjects (translation of your school transcript, just ask at your university for an english version)
   • certificates of internships and other relevant credentials
   For administrative reasons we also need the following:
   • confirmation of payment
   • confirmation of enrollment at a university
   • transcript of records (in German)

   Please mail all attachements (reasonably small) as a pdf-file! We cannot guarantee that other file types, or attachements exceeding 5 MB will reach our international parnter organizations. You can find free software to convert files to pdf here pdf995 or at a variety of other sources.

4. We will relay your application and inform you immediately upon acceptance.

Refund of Administrative Fee?

Your administrative fee will be fully refunded if you are rejected by the employer without reason. The fee will only be withheld if the internship takes place successfully, or if it does not take place at your fault. (As in the case of a poor application, delayed submission of documents, failure to organise your journey to the place of employment or if you attempt to contact the foreign IAESTE Committee or the employer yourself.)
