IAESTE Austria
IAESTE Austria gives Austrian students of engineering and applied science degrees the opportunity to do internships abroad in more than 80 countries worldwide. In return IAESTE offers qualified international interns to Austrian university departments and the industry. IAESTE Austria is run almost entirely by a number of dedicated volunteers. Every year 150-200 Austrian students can get work experience abroad and expand their personal horizons. An equal number of international trainees are taken care of by IAESTE in Austria and do not only expand their own horizons, but also those of their employers.
In addition to that most local committees organize career fairs at their universities for industry and students to present themselves to each other.

SID 2012 will be held in Austria
In May 2012 IAESTE Austria will hold the SID (Seminar on IAESTE Development). This is a very important meeting, where we work a lot on the development of IAESTE on an international level. It will be held at the Retzhof castle in Leibnitz, South Styria. More information can be found at:

IAESTE FirmenShutte - Exkursionen zu Top-Unternehmen
Per Shuttlebus werden im Zeitraum von 06. April bis 19. April 2011 rund 30-50 Unternehmen in ganz Österreich von allen technischen Hochschulen kostenlos angefahren. Jedes der teilnehmenden Unternehmen aus Technik, Industrie und Forschung bietet TeilnehmerInnen ein vielseitiges Programm, bei dem man sich ein Bild über Arbeitsplatz, zukünftige KollegInnen, Projekte und Herausforderungen machen kann.

Get Together Graz
On behalf of IAESTE Austria we would like to invite all IAESTE members and trainees to Get Together in Graz, Styria. The event will take place from 30th of June to 3rd of July 2011. This will be a unique way to discover Graz and create wonderful memories in July in Graz.

The IAESTE Annual Conference is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand from 21st to 28th of January.
